State of Hawai‘i Department of Health Activity Book
It ain’t easy being wheezy.
The Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion Division of the State of Hawai‘i’s Department of Health recognized the need for updated Asthma outreach collateral targeted towards a younger audience. The goal was to create educational material that would effectively highlight the signs of an asthma attack and provide guidance on how to assist someone experiencing it.
To achieve this, a captivating storyline and characters were developed for an activity book, aimed at helping children and parents understand the triggers of asthma attacks. In addition to the creation of the collateral, a comprehensive media campaign encompassing TV and radio was developed to amplify the overall message.
