Hawai‘i Healthcare Workforce Initiative Reports

The Healthcare Association of Hawai‘i (HAH) formally started working on this initiative report on healthcare jobs in Hawai‘i in 2019. Their study addressed the shortage of nurses in various professions statewide. The goal was to create a social consciousness report about this shortfall.
Information about continuing partnerships and collaborations made this an important printed piece for the State’s legislative session. The overall message? Strengthen the pipeline of workers needed to meet the state’s needs.
A follow-up report was completed in 2024.
